Angelica is a main character from the teen-family-comedy-drama-musical TV series, CityKids. She was portrayed by Cyndi Cartagena.

Appearance in Rooftop Thanksgiving[]

After the CityKids settle on where they're going to have their Thanksgiving party, which is on the rooftop of an apartment, Angelica and the other girls, Nikki and Susan, ask if they may see Pete's wife, Zia, and talk to her. He tells them she's inside the building. When they enter the unit where she and her husband live, they overhear Zia on the phone talking to someone about how she's had enough and that she wants to leave. Angelica and her friends think presumably that Zia must be talking about her plans to divorce Pete. Silently, Angelica motions Nikki and Susan out of the unit and they creep out of there without Zia noticing. At the library, Angelica brings this up to the male CityKids. Despite Tito doubting this is true, Angelica, Nikki, and Susan still think otherwise.

At the Thanksgiving party, Zia remains unaware that the girls think that she and Pete are splitting up, and they try to convince her to stay with him by mentioning the couple's wedding video. Then, after Tito finds a homeless boy and wants to help him, all the CityKids discuss what they should do if they happen to see anyone who is homeless in need. Angelica tells him that trying to reach out to the homeless is a bad idea, because of where she and her friends live, a dangerous place like New York, for one. She also says that it's difficult, impossible, and too much for one person to handle when it comes to trying to make a difference in making the world a better place. She and most of the others think the best thing for one to do is be concerned about oneself, and one will be all the better for it. It's not until after Snoopy arrives at the party and brings up how much the homeless shelter has helped him in his situation, Tito believes more than ever that he should help. He goes off to do that and begins to go across from one rooftop to the next. Angelica tells him it's too dangerous, Tito says it's only two feet away, she tells him to go on and risk it. The boy, whose name is Sam, is then accompanied by his mother, Nina, and father, Doug. Zia and the CityKids invite the homeless family to attend their party and Angelica tells them she baked her own angel food cake, which she offers to them. The parents are unsure whether they should at first, but then accept.

Angelica and the others hear Doug's story about how he and his family ended up homeless. After Tito and Sam return with Angelica's angel food cake, she complains about how they ruined it with the frosting. When Sam tells her it's not his fault as she made it, the other CityKids go "Ooh!" and have a laugh. Back in Pete and Zia's unit, Angelica and Nikki finally mention to them their thoughts of the couple getting divorced. Zia clarifies that that's not what she was referring to when she was on the phone. She was talking about leaving the landlord, who hasn't been around to do the work he should've been doing like he's supposed to do so. She and Pete tell them that neither plans to leave each other. The girls feel abashed for jumping to that conclusion without knowing the exact facts of what the truth is.
