David is a main, human character from the teen-family-comedy-drama-musical TV series, CityKids. He is the younger brother of Nikki. He was portrayed by Brad Stoll.

Appearance in Rooftop Thanksgiving[]

On the day the Thanksgiving party arrives, David and his friends carry bowls and Tupperwares of food. They have their party on the rooftop of an apartment building. After Tito sees a boy on the roof of another building across from the one where they are, he has the urge to help. But the others don't think it's always such a good idea. David tells him a story about how he tried to help a homeless person, a former opera singer, once, and that homeless person turned out to be a thief, stealing money from a cabinet in a brownstone. When Snoopy, who was able to come to the party successfully, arrives, he comes in the middle of his friends' conversation about this. Snoopy sides with Tito, as if it weren't for the shelter, he would've been living on the streets. Plus, he's without a family. David jokes that if he wants a family, he should live with his mom, sister, and dad, who is separated. This convinces Tito enough to reach out to the boy named Sam and his parents, Doug and Nina. Everyone agrees to invite the homeless family to their party. The parents are unsure of this at first, but then come around, accepting the offer and invite.

At the party, David asks why the family is homeless. Nikki says his name firmly, as his question may be inappropriate. David apologizes, but Doug says it's fine and he tells everybody what happened. David then goes off to refill his bowl of gelatin. When the party is over and the CityKids return to the stairwell to contact the family again, they're no longer there. They seemingly went elsewhere. They were going to have them stay at a homeless shelter. They begin to look for them, but Snoopy tells them to leave the be, as he's sure they would rather be free to roam and not be told what to do, which is one of the worst things about being homeless. The others disappointingly and reluctantly relent, and continue the clean-up from the party on the roof as the sun sets.
