Susan is a main character from the teen-family-comedy-drama-musical TV series, CityKids. She was portrayed by Anne Ho.
Appearance in Rooftop Thanksgiving[]
Susan and her friends are trying to determine just where to have their Thanksgiving party. It's decided the party will take place on an apartment's rooftop. Susan and the other girls, Angelica and Nikki ask if a resident named Pete's wife, Zia, is in there, as they'd like to speak to her. He tells them she is and that they may. When they enter the unit where the couple live, they find her on the phone telling somebody on the other line that she's sick of something and wants to leave. Susan and the other girls believe she must be talking about getting a divorce from Pete. Angelica quietly motions Susan and Nikki out of the unit, and they creep away. At a library, the girls tell the boys about what they saw and heard. But Tito dismisses this and just tells them not to go there. Despite his doubts, Angelica, Nikki, and Susan believe it to be true.
Before the Thanksgiving party begins, Susan and the other girls try to dissuade Zia from going through with the divorce by reminding her of the spouses' wedding video, though Zia has no idea why they would mention this. Subsequently, Tito spots a boy who seems to be without a home and he wants to do something to help. Most of the other CityKids shoot down the act of committing a good deed and give their reasons why they aren't with him. He thinks they're just being selfish, but Susan tells him it's not necessarily about being selfish, but rather that they just think it's better just to leave the homeless be and that they'd be well-off for that. Snoopy manages to come to the party and, agreeing with Tito, he gives his take on why they should do more to help the homeless since if it weren't for the shelter, he would've been living on the streets. That does it for Tito, as he continues his desire to offer assistance. Everyone sees the boy named Sam with his parents, Nina and Doug. Everyone also invites the homeless family to the party. The parents aren't so willing to join them initially, but then they take up their offer.
Susan and the others listen to Doug tell the story of how he, and his family, lost their home. Susan isn't seen with Angelica and Nikki when the latter two return to Pete and Zia's unit, but it can be presumed that she hears the truth behind Zia's phone call from the other girls once the misunderstanding is corrected and the hearsay is debunked.
